Consistency is our thought for this month. Have you ever considered how different your life might be with a little routine and continuity? Something we are always stressing in our office is continuity and consistency. We encourage ourselves to have a routine in our every day work life.

In the morning greet our colleagues, make a quick cup of coffee and then settle down to the first task of the day. Organise our days into set segments where we can do similar tasks at similar times each day. This has two marked benefits. Firstly, it allows us to do our tasks in a timely and efficient manner and secondly, doing similar tasks at similar times each day it allows us to pace ourselves throughout our work routine. This way when we have extra or challenging tasks to perform, we can find time during our busy schedule to fit them in without sacrificing any other daily responsibility.

There is another very marked advantage and this is that it gives us the opportunity to challenge ourselves in a positive and constructive fashion. No matter how productive or organised we are, there is always room for us to strive for that perfection that a good and consistent routine brings us; both at work and at home.
