Faith is our thought for this month. Perhaps it is important to understand what it means to us and how we can apply it? Faith is our belief, trust, or confidence in a particular occurrence or situation. It is not based merely on logic, reason, or other associated relationships with a God or higher power.

With this in mind, it is the one force in our lives that separates all events or things that take place in our presence or in our minds, and it is the main force that drives us in dire times and in times of need. More simplistically speaking, faith is something we need to have in one another. If we show faith in each other we will learn to have faith in ourselves and believe in our own ability. It is very important to believe in the inherent goodness of life, and us as beings and in so doing exhibit this in everything we do.

Having faith in our colleagues at work will drive them to do their best and perform at their peak. Yes, of course not everyone does their best; but unless we show that faith in them and allow them an opportunity to perform to that expectation we place on them, then we can never really say we gave each other 'every' opportunity to excel. We need to have faith in our families and our friends, because in so doing we give them the opportunity to exhibit their best qualities and live up to our every expectation. Of course there will be times when they fall short, but that is what makes us human and we need to encourage and support one another at these times of need to bring out the best in each other.

Over the coming weeks, have a little faith in your colleagues, and your friends and family and watch yourself grow as you start to have faith in your own ability. Start with little 'miracles' and the big ones will follow……!!!!
